Started with this, a mismatch of drums from at least three sets...

Idea #1

First experiment was this, a two-tone brown-on-tan blend. I liked it at first but eventually grew tired of it.

  Finally arrived at this:                                              


     a kinda powder blue, solid and glossy. In this picture
   they seem to match the bass guitar but in actuality Paul's
     bass is really more turquoise (i.e. green) than it appears here.
